Hello!

I’m Aurélie, a French illustrator living in London. I work across editorial and stationery illustration, surface pattern design, licensing, and branding. 

All my illustrations are drawn and painted by hand, using ink, watercolour and gouache as I prefer the traditional and artisanal practice of painting to the digital method. In my paintings I try to capture the joy and poetry of everyday life in a warm and whimsical style. I’m continuously inspired by my love for architecture, the arts as well as the natural world. I see my practice as a way of translating my observations in light-hearted and delicate drawings.

I have designed artwork for HRH the Princess of Wales & the Kensington Palace Foundation, stationery products, children’s clothing (Timo & Violet),  luxury hotel groups such as The Four Seasons and collaborated with various brands and institutions in the UK, France and USA.
